Our Mission

The Deacons of Cable Baptist Church seek to worship God in His fullness (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); to be instrumental in leading the lost to Salvation; to serve with the highest standards and to be diligent in our service of the church and community.

What you can look forward to as a Deacon

• Being a servant of the church. The highest calling. (1 Timothy 3:1-13)
• An opportunity to assist and serve with the Pastor, fulfilling the mission of the church.
• Assisting in serving the Lord’s Supper.
• An evangelistic outreach. The Great Commission. (Matthew 28: 19-21)
• An opportunity to grow your relationship with Christ.
• Strengthening the respect and fellowship from your brothers and sisters in Christ, and the community as a whole.
• An opportunity to use your spiritual gift.
• Assisting and encouraging the members in their spiritual growth.
• Assisting in the visitation of our members who are ill and unable to attend services.
• Assisting during special church events.
